As the government troops who had been commissioned to go to the Western Ocean had long suffered at sea and the troops had long been separated from their families, the Emperor ordered the Ministry of Rites to present at Court those who had arrived back at the capital and to confer rewards upon them. A total of 5,150 ding of paper money was conferred upon 745 persons.
