The chieftain Ban Xi-nen (Alt: Ban Xi-dun) and others who had been sent by Dao Lan-na, the native-official pacification superintendent of the Ba-bai/Da-dian Pacification Superintendency in Yun-nan, came to Court and offered tribute of elephant tusks, rhinoceros horn and other goods. A banquet as well as variegated silks and other goods as appropriate were conferred upon them. It was also ordered that they take patterned brocades and variegated silks with them to confer, on their return, upon the native official and his wife.
